A baby named Texas
Dear Mom and Dad,
California and Iowa had a baby and named it Texas! Ha,ha:). I have arrived safely and already had some wonderful beef and sausage! it's weird to see pine tree, pine tree, pine tree, palm tree! It is subtropical here in Houston so it is similar to California in a lot of ways, but it has like pine trees and southern trees. It looks a lot like Iowa also with all the foliage and whatnot. The mission President and his wife are super awesome and very nice. I guess it is not to humid lately. They haven't had a good rain since January, so it is not to humid. Some of the missionaries here are praying for a hurricane, I guess, people will listen more afterwards! Haha! And for service opportunities. I'm pretty sure I will love it here because of how it looks and feels. I am curious about what the people are like. I know that I am here for a specific reason and I am ready to serve. I am nervous about finding and knowing what to teach but I know I will be able to figure out how to do both very well soon enough. I love you both so much and thank you for all your support and love. Uncle Vernon gave me some money towards my mission, definitely thank him for me again.
I would like to bear my testimony that I know God is our friend and our Father. He is with us everywhere we go and is always willing and wanting to help us. I know that through Jesus Christ, we can return to live with our Father and families again forever. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that through reading the Book of Mormon as a family each day can bring families closer together and they can be in unity. I know that prayer answers questions we have and that we can receive guidance through prayer. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. I love you both so much and I also love our whole family.
Your missionary son,
Elder Fuller
